Sar, Ellen, Julie and I have been meeting occassionally to speak of all things ‘poetic’…. to read other poets and to encourage each other to write and read our own.  This little piece was mailed from person to person to each add a line until we came up with this –

Frozen smiles that keep love away
Buried bones stored in earth see no day
A woman, a child, past memories that fade
To a story that softens and sings of other days…

AND…. I just thought I’d add this from Osho… “Developing the knack of being total in responding to whatever comes, as it comes, is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. Taking one step through life at a time, giving each step your complete attention and energy, can bring a wondrous new vitality and creativity to all that you do.”

  1. Wow, what a wonderous idea, a poem written by all and such a deep and heart felt one!! I love the Osho quote as well. It is a wonderful reminder to take life one step at a time. We so often want to know what lies ahead enabling us to have some sense of control. Instead how refreshing to allow each moment to present to us what it is that it desires us to do or not do.

  2. what a splendid idea.
i love your art work, by the way.
    (and the beef stew) 🙂
