I have to share this recipe with you because it’s the best one I’ve ever tried (with peanut butter which we love…) and there’s nothing like it around… so here it is (you can see I put in a mixture of choc chips – they don’t have to be dark!)
Peanut butter Choc chip cookies 125gbutter cubed, 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter, 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar, 1 egg at room temp., ¼ cup cocoa, ½ cup plain flour, ¾ cup SR flour, 250g dark choc chips Preheat oven to 180c. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick paper. Cream the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar. Add egg and mix well. Stir in the combined, sifted cocoa and 2 flours. Add the choc chips and mix well. Roll 1 tbls of mixture into a ball and place on tray – flatten a little with spatula… should make 24. Bake for 12 mins. Let stand on tray for 5 mins before transferring to wire rack for cooling.
